Description
If you have ever tried using original type wire wheels on later hydraulic brakes you already know how critical this piece is. Original 1928 – 1935 Ford brake drums were not flat like later hydraulic brake drums. Even though the wheel seems to bolt up tight, they are actually getting pulled out of round and make the car walk all over the road while driving.
These support rings mimic the step in original drums allowing the wheel to be bolted up properly and stay true. Will also suit the Kelsey Hayes wheels of the 1930’s.
