Third Gen Automotive was founded by Michael Driskell in 2011. His love and knowledge for early Ford V-8’s led him on a journey of selling early Ford parts for a living. Originally, he went to swap meets and car shows and would find parts people needed for their cars which eventually led him to doing this full time. The name Third Gen Automotive comes from his family’s love for early Fords. His grandfather owned a Model A Victoria, which he drove on a daily basis up until he passed away, and a 1935 Ford Coupe that Michael’s dad, Danny, restored when Michael was a child. Danny, has owned many early Fords over the years, but his prize possession is his 1935 Ford Coupe that came from his father.
At Christmas time 2014, Charlotte, the Fourth Generation was born. What started as an at home business, quickly escalated to a 10,000 square foot warehouse of parts.
